Our client is a Global Consultancy business based in Manchester and are currently expanding their administration team due to growth.


Job Description


As an Administrator at a Global Consultancy Business, your role will encompass a wide range of tasks and responsibilities, including:



  • Serving as the first point of contact for office inquiries.

  • Assisting with billing and collections processes.

  • Handling internal and external invoices and account queries.

  • Providing support with new instructions and case management.

  • Maintaining an organised and efficient filing system.

  • Ensuring that databases are up to date and accurate.

  • Producing reports as requested.

  • Managing tender invites and submissions.

  • Offering general administrative support to the broader team.

  • Assisting in the production of marketing submissions.

  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create and schedule social media and LinkedIn posts, as well as managing website content.

  • Undertaking any other ad hoc projects or duties as required.


The Successful Applicant


The successful Administrator: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:



  • Previous experience in administrative and/or support roles.

  • Strong proficiency in using MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Confidence in working with new online and company systems.

  • Knowledge and experience of using WordPress and Content Management Systems (CMS) would be preferable but not essential.

  • Exceptional professionalism in dealing with clients and third parties.

  • A thorough and methodical approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed.

  • High self-motivation and the ability to work independently, effectively managing workload and time.

  • A team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Adaptability and a flexible approach to work.

  • Initiative and a can-do attitude, combined with a genuine enjoyment of working within a team.
