Due to an internal promotion and 2 retirements, we have 3 vacancies for Paediatric Secretaries within our high quality administration team:

The role is working within a busy, dynamic Community Paediatric Service, which encompasses looked after children, child development, education and child protection.

You will have proven experience of working within an office environment. You will have excellent typing and IT skills, with a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A good understanding of medical terminology is ideal. You should also be familiar with audio/digital dictation.

This is a great opportunity if you are someone who has a positive, can do attitude, is team focused and wants to learn and get involved. You will be able to utilise your excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills.

In return, you will work with a great team within modern offices. You will receive an induction programme, full training and have the opportunity for ongoing learning and development.

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the consultant and community paediatric team in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, protocols and guidance. The will include typing of clinical correspondence, referral management, booking appointments and telephone liaison.
