Data Quality Administrator Full Time

The following are the core responsibilities of the Data Quality Administrator. There may be a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: Ensure back-up and disaster recovery procedures are in place and effective: To ensure the disaster plan is readily available, with all the necessary protocols, clinical documents and emergency numbers in case Internet or IT equipment is unusable. To ensure appointment book failsafe is being used and updated daily. Perform regular system checks and updates to maximise performance: Roll out operating system upgrades on all systems in the Practice.

Provide training to all staff as required, ensuring the effective use of all systems: Ensure all training protocols are up to date for clinical and administrative users to expedite training and efficacy. To give a general overview of clinical and administrative systems to new starters and provide them with a training folder. To be available to all staff for training purposes Ensure staff adhere to practice policies regarding Data security and ensuring conformance to Information Governance working closely with the Practice Manager and Caldicott Guardian Build, generate and carry out searches as required by the organisation to enable reports to be produced and action plans devised. Support the team in the effective use of searches, audits and recalls.

Work closely with the Strategic Manager, Practice Manager, Nurse Manager and Data Quality Co-ordinator in achieving maximum Qof points and all aspects of the local Quality Framework and maximise income for the Practice. Support the team in the use of the clinical systems. Support the Management Team with data project management and implementing new systems. Configure searches and interpret data for audit purposes.

Send out mail merges, bulk texts etc. for a number of campaigns, i.e., flu, vaccinations, PHE campaigns. Support the Data Quality Co-ordinator and Admin Team Leader with all elements of the online patient access process and online consultations. Support the practice manager and data quality co-ordinator in the writing of all data quality related policies and protocols and user guides Assist the Administration Team with coding and filing of all patient correspondence.

Support Trainees + Students with clinical and quality improvement audits To be the Deputy IT Lead working closely with the IT Lead: Setting up IT equipment for meetings and Practice events when required Ensure system checks and maintenance is carried out on all systems to achieve maximum performance. To perform IT inductions for new starters IT equipment audits Ensure the upkeep of all IT equipment and replace damaged in liaison with local IT service. Report all issues that cannot be fixed in house to IT service and follow protocols regarding IT reporting to ensure prompt repair or replacement. To add/remove staff from all IT/Data systems.

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Data Quality Administrator may be requested to: Partake in audits as directed by the organisation Liaise with the CCG, ICS, PCN, Federation and other external stakeholders in relation to Data Quality matters Contribute to the development of the strategic objectives of the practice, providing specialist data quality knowledge
