Medical Secretary / Administrator Full Time

at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust Manchester in Manchester (Published at 21-12-2023)

We require a highly motivated and professional Band 3 medical secretary/administrator to provide a comprehensive, highly confidential and efficient secretarial/administrative service to Consultant Psychiatrists/Psychologists and their teams. This is a split role to cover Psychiatry for two set days and one set day for Psychology (Wednesday to Friday 22.5 hours)

The successful candidate will be an organised individual, with excellent communication and IT skills and will be able to work individually and also as part of a wider secretarial team, using own initiative as necessary.

You will be required to work to Trust and departmental deadlines and be able to relate to all disciplines of staff, service users, public and other external agencies in a professional manner.

You will be responsible for dealing with queries, maintaining accurate records, producing high quality clinical reports and letters, producing minutes and assisting with other administrative duties as appropriate.

As a first point of telephone contact for the CMHT, the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service is an essential part of this post.
