Overview
Complete Talent Services are currently recruiting for a Junior IT Support Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Manchester area.
This position will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the IT infrastructure at the Oldham site. General setting up of equipment and simple tasks such as basic troubleshooting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the current IT personnel along with the IT service provider with the aim of implementing improvements.
- Setting up of new computers, both digitally & physically when required.
- Repairing of corrupt/full-capacity computers by clearing & re-installing our company install of Windows.
- Aiding the team with any questions that may arise.
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSE’s Grades 5 to 9 (C+ to A+) / A-level in both Maths and English.
- Demonstrable experience of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and advice on business improvements.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage and negotiate.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
- Technical mindset with a background in IT.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
