Due to growth, we are looking to expand our Fleet and Plant department by taking on a candidate in our Systems Administrator team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our fleet administration team as a part of Lanes group, based at our Bamber Bridge depot. The role will include managing the data coming through our Samara system, checking for overall accuracy, amending data and liaising with our departments to ensure we are working in compliance with Sapphire Utility Solutions. The tracking system will provide evidence of the vehicles compliance, location, fuel management as well as other features. It will be your responsibility and duty to raise issues with management.

Location: Bamber Bridge

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 16:30pm

Responsibilities – but not limited to:

  • Manage the safety inbox system which indicates any unsafe driving within the company.
  • Liaise with managers, third parties and team regarding any concerns that are not in compliance with driving standards.
  • Be able to manage over 3,000 vehicles that are circulating throughout the company.
  • Liaising with the mechanical department regarding any defects on vehicles, unsafe vehicle checks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Run excel reports from the systems in which we use, being able to provide accurate information and evidence for monthly reporting.
  • Uploading documentation to the system for various departments throughout the company.
  • Conducting field reports – ensuring the company maintains compliance with fuel.

Training Provided:

Whilst we provide continuous training and updates to the system you will also benefit from offsite training days in various locations such as London etc.

About you:

  • Efficient in IT, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to navigate Teams, Microsoft outlook and completing reports.
  • Communicative and be able to use own initiative within fast paced environment.
  • Be able to comply with confidentiality within the company regarding staff.
  • Admin experience preferred but not essential.
