JOB PURPOSE






As our Lease Database Coordinator, you will be responsible for the input of all Lease & Finance Extract data into our global lease database, ensuring accuracy and consistency within the process. Working closely and reporting to the Data & Process Manager, you’ll also be undertaking regular audits and checking of the data to ensure we are providing the most commercially accurate and useful information for our Finance and Legal teams.




This Lease Database Coordinator role is available on a full time, permanent contract and can be based in either our London (Horseferry House) or Leeds (Queen Street) office on a hybrid basis.






RESPONSIBILITIES







  • Input of all lease extract and finance data into the Global CoStar Lease Database, provided by the legal and finance team – including data for new leases, amendments, and renewals

  • Input of all rent review increases, to ensure changes are documented, captured and updated and accurate calculations can be made

  • Ensure all additions and changes are captured and entered in a timely manner, to meet IFRS 16 Accounting deadlines and compliance

  • Provide processing updates and raise any relevant queries on completed extract entry, via Trackers and regular

  • Leading on monthly Audits and ensure any required changes are followed up

  • Propose and implement any new audits for database consistency and accuracy, based on experience of extract reviews, database entry and related common issues

  • Provide cover for EMEIA Lease Paralegal on ad hoc basis as required

  • Assist the Data & Process Manager in any related data validation tasks, including monthly system audits, interface issues and global tracking/reporting






PERSONAL PROFILE







  • Legal or Real Estate qualification, or practical work experience within a commercial Legal/Real Estate function, dealing with varied lease types

  • Highly detail orientated, with ability to process high volume of data entry with accuracy

  • Extremely organized with excellent time management

  • Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines

  • Flexible approach and positive under pressure

  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel

  • Lease database experience advantageous

  • Finance knowledge would be useful but not essential
