Southwark Council is a dynamic and diverse organisation serving the vibrant community of Southwark, with nearly 5,000 employees dedicated to making a difference. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Adviser to join our team in the school's Human Resources Service.

Key Responsibilities (please refer to the job description for more details)



  • Support and Promotion: Work closely with the Head of Schools Human Resources to market the service as the preferred supplier of high-quality, professional, and effective human resources solutions.

  • Financial Management: Assist in budget monitoring and planning by maintaining accurate financial information. Ensure that all income and expenditure are processed in accordance with financial protocols.

  • Meeting Support: Coordinate meetings, take notes as required, and produce and disseminate documentation.

  • Data Management: Process data, carry out statistical analysis and create reports. Respond to information requests.

  • Website Administration: Act as the website administrator and monitor and maintain the service websites, ensuring that content is relevant and up to date.


Additional Information:



  • This is a Permanent, full-time position



  • Standard 36 hours, Monday to Friday, there may be a requirement to attend meetings outside of normal working hours and to administer meetings virtually and/or in person
