Signature Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity to work with our client, a busy, well-established London-based MSP, as an IT Support Engineer. If you have a genuine passion outside of work for technology, networking, and IT support, this is the perfect opportunity to build and develop your skills.


The company was established approximately 20 years ago, and they currently look after over 250 sites across London. As IT Support Engineer, you will be exposed to 1st & 2nd line support with the backing and guidance of more experienced engineers. There will also be involvement in bigger project works, to learn from and progress to 3rd line involvement. As well as providing IT support to clients both virtually and on site, your duties as IT Support Engineer will include project work on client network, infrastructure, hardware, and system upgrades. Handling queries and reacting to callouts across London, you will support desktops, laptops, servers, local & cloud-based networks, VOIP systems, and Fibre Broadband provisioning. Your customer-facing skills and prior experience working in an IT support role, will set you up perfectly to thrive within this position. IT Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:



  • Working from home in a continuous video “Virtual Office” call using Microsoft Teams

  • Reacting to client callouts across London (Pre-paid oyster card for free travel)

  • Project-based work on client network infrastructure, hardware, and system upgrades

  • Supporting desktops, laptops, servers, local & cloud-based networks, VOIP systems, and Fibre Broadband provisioning

  • Exposure to all clients’ technologies on and off site to support (learn)


IT Support Engineer Essential Skills:



  • Proven passion outside of work for technology, networking, and IT support (eg. home lab, IT subscriptions, etc.)

  • Well spoken, good communicator

  • Driven and motivated self-learner

  • Highly focused attention to detail


Desired Experience:



  • Broadband Router Management

  • IP Address, Gateway, DNS

  • MS Active Directory

  • MS Azure Admin

  • NAS Management
