Property Maintenance Helpdesk Coordinator



  • Hybrid /Office Based/Remote

  • Reports to Head of Property

  • Full Time, 40 Hours, Monday to Friday

The role of the Property Maintenance Helpdesk Coordinator is assist with the management of the nursery premises and offices, to ensure their continued safe and compliant operation. You will work closely with the Head of Property and our Health and Safety Manager and drive forward a programme of reactive and planned maintenance visits, whilst keep accurate records and reporting on the current estate.


About the Job:



  • Oversee day to day operations and maintenance of the facilities dealing rapidly with all new requests for maintenance

  • Manage and enhance our contractor base

  • Coordinate and schedule reactive repairs and planned maintenance ensuring works are completed in a timely and cost effective manner whilst updating nurseries on upcoming works.

  • Manage day to day supplier relationships

  • Maintain records of works undertaken and costs incurred

  • Provide regular 'dashboard' reporting on the estate's current compliance

  • Undertake purchasing projects to ensure effective budgetary spend

  • Process property invoices in conjunction with our finance department

  • Develop asset register across all sites and for goods and materials purchased


About you:



  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Attention to detail, systematic and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of building regulations, safety regulations and best practice

  • Knowledge of maintenance, trades, materials

  • Experience of prioritizing work to meet deadlines

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for the Maintenance Helpdesk

  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT Skills (Office Suite and especially Excel or CAFM)

Salary: From £27,000 up to £32,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
