Hammonds of Knutsford, a leading wine and spirits wholesaler, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. In the position, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our information technology systems. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge and expertise in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with MySQL and Bootstrap 5 is also desirable.


Key Responsibilities:


· Develop and Maintain: Develop and maintain web applications, websites, and internal systems using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.


· Database Management: Work with MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.


· Frontend Development: Design and enhance user interfaces using Bootstrap 5 to create responsive and visually appealing websites and applications.


· Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.


· Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, and implement effective IT solutions.


· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and applications.


Qualifications and Skills:


· Solid knowledge and experience in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.


· Familiarity with MySQL and Bootstrap 5 is a plus.


· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


· Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.


· Prior experience in a similar role will be advantageous.


· IT-related certifications will be a plus.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
