IT Service Desk Technician Full Time

at RSK Group Manchester in Manchester (Published at 23-10-2023)



RSK Group are looking for two IT Service Desk Technicians to join the Group IT Department on a full time basis working 40 hours pw. The team are expanding and offer a great opportunities for development and career progression!


The successful candidates will be working on site in our Manchester offices 5 days a week.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide remote and on-site technical support (1st and 2nd line)

  • Troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate issues promptly.

  • Install, upgrade, and update software.

  • Collaborate with the IT team and assist with projects.

  • Ensure compliance and security of IT infrastructure.


Person Specification:



  • Proven previous IT experience and/or relevant qualifications

  • Familiarity with Service Desk ticketing systems

  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills

  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Android operating systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications

  • Full UK driving license required for occasional travel.


Salary and Benefits:



  • Up to £30,000 depending on experience
