Senior IT Technician


Contract type: Permanent 37hrs per week Full Year


Location: Werneth School Romiley, Stockport SK6 3BX

Salary: SCALE 5 POINT 12-17 £24,496 – £26,845

The Role


The Senior ICT Technician is an integral part of the ICT team. The school is increasingly dependent on its ICT systems working properly and efficiently. A proactive and planned approach is essential to ensure the ICT infrastructure enables the school to work optimally.


You are required to help maintain all aspects of the school’s ICT infrastructure and provide technical support, training and guidance to all end users.


We are seeking someone with:



  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop

  • Flexible approach

  • Ability to carry and set-up IT equipment

  • Good team skills.

Werneth School is an 11-16 comprehensive school in Stockport with over 1100 students of all abilities: we serve a wide range of student backgrounds and a supportive community.
