Job Description

The IT Systems Engineer (Retail Technical Analyst) will be responsible for the support and enhancement of the Skechers Retail systems including POS and other store-impacting systems. You will work closely with the EU and US IT departments to ensure Skechers Retail stores are fully supported.


We're seeking an individual who can provide tier 3 technical support for retail POS and related systems including direct store support as needed. As well as facilitating the Skechers service desk coordination and working on retail-related software and hardware deployments.


This role will also entail managing change control processes for retail stores. Conducting new store opening tasks. Ensure proper POS lab maintenance. Execute, monitor, and maintain data distribution and interfaces to/from POS systems. Perform release tracking, building systems monitoring, and alerting. As well as conducting retrospectives and RCAs.

What we’re looking for:



  • Experience in Retail POS support required.

  • Aptos POS, Sales Audit, and Promos/Pricing preferred

  • Experience with Oracle Xstore POS a plus.

  • Agile SDLC experience is preferred.

  • Must have a least 5 years of experience working in backend development in the latest technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision.

  • Experience with Payment gateway solutions

  • Ability to speak multiple languages, Spanish and Japanese is desirable.

  • A relevant degree in computer science or a related technical field is desirable.
