We are currently seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our UK team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong interest and knowledge of computer systems, servers, and IT hardware and software. Responsibilities:
As an IT Technician at our company, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Hardware and Software Support: Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and software applications.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot technical problems, both remotely and on-site, and provide timely solutions.
Network Support: Assist in maintaining network connectivity and assist with network-related issues.
User Training: Train end-users on basic IT procedures and best practices to enhance their technical proficiency.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, as well as documentation for technical procedures and solutions.
Security: Implement and enforce security measures to protect data and systems from threats.
Upgrades and Maintenance: Assist with hardware and software upgrades and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members to solve complex technical problems and contribute to IT projects.
Skills Required:
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting.
Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, CCNA) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

£12.49 - £19.05 per hour approximately.
