Job overview


We are looking for two administrators to come and join the Bolton Community Eating Disorder Service.


We are a friendly and supportive team who are based at Breightmet Health Centre in Bolton.


You will support the team in relation to a variety of administration tasks and will be a key member of the team.

To provide a quality, comprehensive administrative, secretarial and


organisational support to the team.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).


Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.


New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.

Qualifications



Essential criteria


  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent

  • ECDL

  • Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft office applications

  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality

  • Minute / note taking experience

  • Experience of working in a health environment

Applicant requirements




The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
