Finance & Administration Assistant [Maternity Cover]
Grade 3, SCP 6-11, £21,968 - £24,054 per annum
Actual pro-rata salary £19,294 to £21,126
36.66 hours per week 8am–3:50pm Monday to Friday, (Part time hours will be considered to suit the right candidate)
Term Time plus two weeks

We wish to appoint an Finance & Administration Assistant from 4 December 2023 to cover a year of maternity leave, working within a busy and varied multi-disciplinary team. . Under the direction of the Finance Officer and Business Manager, the successful applicant will undertake effective financial administration procedures, effectively respond to internal and external financial queries and ensure the efficient maintenance of records.. The successful postholder will also provide administrative and general support for whole academy activities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent administrative, organisation, customer service and ICT skills, including MS Office and databases


• Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach to work


• Works well within a team


• Would like to work in a busy but rewarding environment

This position will be based at St Anne’s Academy, Middleton, but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
