Team Introduction
TikTok's IT security team is responsible for enterprise IT global cyber security, server security, endpoint security, application security construction, and protection work. They work to improve overall IT security capabilities and security posture, providing security processes, security assessments, security operations, and security vulnerability management services. The team also supports IT teams and business departments in meeting their security requirements.


Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility will be to oversee the operation and maintenance of various security tools and systems used to protect our organization's information assets.


• Responsible for the planning, implementation and optimization of security tools.


• Monitor and maintain IT security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS, EDR, DLP, CASB, SWG and other security technologies.


• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updating signatures, patching security tools, and fine-tuning configurations to ensure optimal performance.


• Analyze security alerts and incidents generated by security tools, triage and investigate potential security breaches, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.


• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement improvements in security tool operations and configurations.


• Maintain accurate records of security tool activities, incidents, and investigations for reporting and auditing purposes.


• Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices related to security tool operations.


• Work with other teams within the organization to ensure that security policies and procedures are followed.


• Assist in the deployment and implementation of new security tools and technologies as required.


• Assist in responding to security incidents and resolve them in a timely manner.


• Assist in developing and maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.


• At least 3 years of in-house experience working in a cyber security role.


• Proven experience working with security tools, such as FW, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP etc. security monitoring tools.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and investigate security events effectively.


• Knowledge of incident response processes and procedures.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.


• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CIW are preferred.


• Programming ability and tools operation automation are preferred.
