VUBIQUITY, part of the Amdocs Media division of Amdocs, connects content owners and video distributors to deliver media to viewers on any screen. Working with 600+ leading film studios, television networks, independent producers and digital first networks, VUBIQUITY brings premium content to over 1,000 global video distributors.



OVERVIEW:


The Systems Administrator will work in partnership between our Global Production Technology Team and our Global Team to design, implement, document, and support current and future infrastructure. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting IT-related issues within the company. The administrator will be responsible for closing support tickets one moment and managing projects the next, self-managing time and organization are very important. The desired person should keep abreast of latest technologies and industry best practices.



Responsibilities:

Your duties and obligations will include, but are not limited to:




  • Engineer, implement, and monitor for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.

  • Architect solutions and technically own the implementation from end to end.

  • Evaluate and work with teams to recommend new and emerging technologies for use inside and outside the organization.

  • Able to work on multiple tasks and self-manage

  • Coordinating and executing complex projects across engineering, security and operations

  • Identify sound technical solutions to meet the requirements of the business

  • Take ownership over support tickets and manage them from start to finish in a timely manner

  • Being proactive to recognize issues and solve them with very little management

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with varying degrees of responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability in diagnosing and remedying critical server-related problems and failures promptly and effectively

  • Deep seeded knowledge of on-premises infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Marked experience and comfort with diverse operating system ecosystem (Windows, Linux, Mac)

  • Experience with SAN/NAS Technology, design and implementation and supporting

  • Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while staying a team player

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

  • Able to keep up to date documentation within the company documentation database

  • Past experience in the Media industry a plus
