Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for providing top-notch IT support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join an IT team of 6 based in Uxbridge as an IT Support Analyst. We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide first- and second-line support, helping maintain the smooth operation of IT systems.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Ticket Resolution: Log and resolve tickets reported to the service desk, ensuring efficient and timely solutions to user issues.

  • Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with 3rd party support organisations when needed to expedite ticket resolution.

  • Escalation: Escalate complex issues to the Senior Support Analyst while actively assisting in their resolution.

  • Issue Identification: Identify recurring errors and areas for service and technical improvements, working closely with the Senior Support Analyst to develop action plans.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Create technical notes for the service desk to enhance their skills and capabilities.

  • User Assistance: Provide desk-side assistance to users as required to ensure minimal disruption.

  • High-Priority Calls: Immediately inform the Senior Systems Analyst and Head of IT about high-priority calls.

  • Documentation: Maintain and update asset registers, booking systems, and call management systems as necessary.

  • Ticket Management: Regularly review, update, and escalate outstanding tickets to ensure timely resolution.

  • User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts in various systems, including Active Directory and Office 365.

  • Device Management: Oversee the company's fleet of smartphones and laptops through the Mobile Device Management system, arranging repairs when necessary.

  • Equipment Diagnosis: Assist in diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment, either directly or by coordinating with 3rd party support companies.

  • Project Support: Contribute to IT projects and the implementation of new technologies.

  • Ad Hoc Duties: Be prepared to take on other responsibilities expected of a Support Analyst.


Qualifications: A level or degree equivalent in relevant qualification Formal IT-related training and qualifications. Genuine interest in technology.
