Who are we?
At The Seaton, we do things a little differently. We are proud to be an Eden Alternative home, which means our residents are at the heart of everything we do. We believe a care home should feel like exactly that - a home - not an institution.
That’s why you won’t find our team wearing traditional uniforms. Instead, we focus on creating a relaxed, familiar and welcoming environment where residents can continue to live life in a way that feels meaningful to them.
We’re incredibly proud of the homely atmosphere at The Seaton. It’s something we regularly receive lovely feedback about from residents, families and visitors. We also have a fun, friendly and long-standing team who know our residents well and genuinely care about making each day a good one.
Our ideal candidate
For us, great care starts with kindness. Experience and qualifications are valued, but just as important is finding someone with the right heart and attitude.
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, patient and warm; enjoys spending time with people and getting to know their individual personalities; understands that residents should have choice, independence and a voice in their own home; enjoys being part of a supportive team; and is happy to bring a little fun and laughter into the day.
Being a Care Partner is about much more than completing a list of care tasks. It might mean helping someone get ready for their day, sitting down for a proper chat over a cup of tea, sharing a laugh, supporting someone with an activity they enjoy, or simply noticing when somebody needs a little extra time and reassurance.
If you’re looking for a care role where you can be yourself, become part of a genuinely welcoming team and make a real difference to the people who call The Seaton home, we’d love to hear from you.
If you have any questions or would like some further information on the role, please 'APPLY' now and we can arrange a phone call at your earliest convenience.
