360 Excavator Operator ( With Grab ) – Full Time – Competitive Pay

Aldermaston Recycling, a busy and growing family-run waste management business, is looking for an experienced and safety-conscious 360 Excavator Operator to join our team.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay, regular overtime, and long-term stability within a fast-paced recycling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 360 excavator fitted with a grab (selector grab).
• Load hoppers feeding a trommel and picking station.
• Load and unload HGVs and other vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move and manage waste materials across the site.
• Assist with picking and sorting materials when required to maintain site efficiency.
• Carry out daily machine checks and complete defect sheets.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card for 360 Excavator.
• Proven experience operating a 360 excavator with grab attachment (waste/recycling experience preferred).
• Experience loading trommels or working within a picking station environment is advantageous.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a good attitude.
• Able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:00
• Saturday: 07:00 – 13:00
• Overtime available
• Pay negotiable depending on experience
