About the Role
The successful candidate will:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across a range of engineering programmes.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Support learners to achieve their academic goals whilst promoting their wellbeing and development.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in student recruitment, marketing and promotional activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to enhance the learner experience.
- Deliver teaching across College sites and community venues, including occasional evening and weekend provision where required.
About You
You will have:- A qualification in Engineering at Degree or HNC level.
- A PGCE, teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Relevant industry experience within an engineering environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Teaching experience or the ability to transfer industry expertise into an educational setting.
- An understanding of health and safety requirements within engineering.
- Strong IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
- A commitment to supporting learners and delivering an outstanding learning experience.
