We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled mechanical professional to work on prestigious residential properties with a company known for uncompromising standards and in-house expertise.

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services across our completed super-prime residential projects and live sites. You will ensure all systems run efficiently while upholding the exceptional quality our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical systems, including boilers, pumps, HVAC, pipework, and associated plant
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on mechanical installations and BMS systems
  • Carry out minor mechanical installation, modification, and upgrade works
  • Complete all work to the highest standards in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate digital service records and provide clear client reporting
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, residents, and project teams

Requirements for the Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

  • Solid experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in commercial or high-end residential building services environments
  • Strong practical knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems
  • Commercial Gas Safe registration is highly advantageous (ideal candidate will hold current commercial gas qualification)
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Plumbing or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Proactive attitude with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while representing a quality-focused main contractor
