Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and servicing fire fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems across various communal area blocks. Duties

  • Design and develop fire alarm systems tailored to client specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems on-site, utilising hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure ongoing system reliability and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues within fire alarm systems, diagnosing faults through schematic analysis and practical testing.
  • Document all work processes accurately, including system modifications, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company procedures.
  • Stay informed of industry developments, codes, and regulations related to fire safety systems.

Skills

  • Proven experience in system design for fire alarm or related electrical systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to installation processes and equipment handling.
  • Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
  • Electrical experience with a focus on fire safety systems or building infrastructure is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction environments and working alongside construction teams during project execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
