About Us
We are a growing domestic appliance repair business covering Newport, Cardiff and Bristol and surrounding areas. We specialise in the repair and maintenance of white goods, including washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, ovens, cookers, microwaves and fridge freezers. Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Subcontractor or Apprentice Appliance Repair engineer to join our team.
The Role
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing household appliances in customers’ homes. This is a field-based role requiring strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service.
Duties include:
- Diagnosing and repairing washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers, microwaves, fridge freezers and cooker hoods.
- Replacing faulty components and carrying out safety checks
- Ordering and managing spare parts
- Providing clear explanations and professional service to customers
- Completing job reports and maintaining accurate records
Subcontractor Engineer – Requirements
- Proven experience repairing domestic appliances
- Own van and tools
- Public liability insurance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
