Our Financial Controller at Amber Beverage UK will be instrumental in the smooth running of the business, using their overall business insight to make the right decisions when it comes to cost and translating financial information to the business so everyone understands how they can contribute to the bottom line. What kind of things will I be doing?
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, ensuring robust financial control and timely, accurate reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Full ownership of the month-end close process
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing short, medium, and long-term liquidity across the business
- Preparing, maintaining, and updating cash flow forecasts
- Managing the working capital facility
- Overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers
- Monthly preparation and review of supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing overhead expenditure across all reporting and planning cycles
- Producing cost centre reporting and analysis
- Processing payroll and employee expenses
- Support audit and compliance activities as required
What kind of thing have I done before?
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in a leadership finance role
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insight
- Experience leading finance teams and working closely with senior management / boards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders
- Experience in the drinks industry or FMCG is desirable
What kind of person will I be?
Possess sound technical skills and a high level of numeracy.
Keen to use your initiative, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Proficiency in I.T. skills.
Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced industry
