About the Post:

Barnsley Council is looking for a Group Leader to join our Strategic Housing service. This is a high-impact role where your vision, leadership, and innovation will directly influence the boroughs housing landscape which is at the heart of our place transformation agenda.

As Group Leader for Strategic Housing and Growth, you will:

• Lead the delivery and evolution of Barnsley’s housing strategies.
• Drive major housing development and regeneration projects across all tenures.
• Collaborate across services to create sustainable, thriving neighbourhoods.
• Secure external funding and develop creative financing models.
• Manage complex capital, revenue, and external budgets with precision
