We specialise in integrated fire and security solutions, access control, intercoms, and smart technologies, with a strong focus on compliance, reliability, and customer service.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer / Installer to join our team.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and fault-finding of fire and security systems across a range of client sites. This role is suited to an engineer who works to a high standard, understands compliance requirements, and can work independently when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, service, and maintain fire alarm systems
  • Install and maintain intruder alarm systems
  • Install and configure access control systems
  • Install and support intercom systems
  • Fault-find and diagnose issues efficiently
  • Work with systems including:
  • Paxton (Access Control & Entry)
  • Hikvision (CCTV & Intercoms)
  • Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant British Standards
  • Complete job documentation and system handovers
  • Deliver excellent customer service on site
  • Work independently and as part of a wider team

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ prior experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or Installer
  • Proven experience with:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Intruder alarms
  • Access control systems
  • Intercom systems
  • Experience with Hikvision CCTV and/or intercoms
  • Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills
  • Good understanding of UK fire & security standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable (But Not Essential)

  • Fire alarm commissioning experience
  • IP networking knowledge
  • Experience with multiple manufacturers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

Work Location: In person
