Beadlight is an LED Lighting Manufacturing Company. We design, engineer and manufacture lights and HMI devices for Aerospace, Maritime and the contract market.

We are a growing aerospace company with around 50 employees, seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time IT Manager to manage and develop our IT systems and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day IT support with strategic oversight, ensuring our technology is secure, reliable, and able to support continued business growth in a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain day-to-day IT operations, including networks, servers, hardware, and software
• Administer Microsoft 365, email systems, data storage, backups, and disaster recovery processes
• Provide first- and second-line IT support to employees, acting as the main point of contact for IT issues
• Ensure robust cyber security measures are in place, including user access controls, patching, and endpoint security
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT equipment and system access
• Maintain IT asset registers, documentation, and system procedures
• Liaise with external IT support providers and software vendors as required
• Support quality, security, and compliance requirements, including audit activity where applicable

About You:

• Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead, or senior IT support role
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft-based environments, networking, and cyber security
• Experience supporting a small to medium-sized business
• Comfortable working independently in a part-time or standalone role
• Clear communicator, able to support non-technical users
• Experience within aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or another regulated industry is desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
