Overview
Softoo is seeking a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented HR & People Analytics Manager to oversee UK HR operations, employee lifecycle management, compliance, recruitment coordination, and HR data analytics. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong administrative foundations, experience in UK employment laws, and the ability to convert HR data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
The HR Manager will be the primary HR point of contact for employees in the UK office and will work closely with global HR teams across Europe, North America , South Asia, and ME.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & People Partnership
· Act as an HR Business Partner to leadership, aligning HR and people strategy with organizational goals.
· Assess and forecast staffing needs across departments.
· Oversee organizational structure reviews, reporting lines, and workflow design to improve efficiency and productivity.
Talent Acquisition & Staffing
· Manage recruitment processes: create job descriptions, advertise openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews.
· Lead technical recruitment for IT/CS roles using a strong understanding of technical backgrounds and job requirements.
Employee Lifecycle & People Operations
· Manage full employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, training & development, promotions, exits/offboarding.
· Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, attendance, leave, payroll, and compliance documentation.
Payroll, Compensation & Compliance
· Oversee payroll execution, benefit administration, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
· Develop and implement HR policies related to compensation, health & safety, promotions, and employee conduct.
· Stay updated with labour laws and advise management on regulatory compliance.
Employee Engagement, Relations & Industrial Relations
· Design and manage employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
· Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and negotiations with employee representatives/unions if required.
Performance & Learning & Development
· Manage performance evaluation cycles, support career development, and training plans.
· Identify training needs and coordinate relevant learning programs for staff skill enhancement and growth.
HR Analytics & Reporting
· Maintain HR dashboards and analytics models using Power BI and advanced Excel to report on workforce metrics (turnover, retention, headcount, performance, hiring, etc.).
· Use data-driven insights to support strategic decisions around staffing, retention, productivity, and organizational planning.
Cross-Functional & IT Coordination
· Collaborate with IT teams to support internal system maintenance, user access, and HR-system integrations.
· Work with Finance, Admin, Operations, and other departments to ensure cohesive organizational processes and compliance.
Organizational Design & Change Support
· Assist with restructuring, reporting line updates, and OD documentation.
· Update organizational charts and ensure accurate records in systems.
· Support internal communication for change management.
Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, IT / Computer Science or relevant field experience.
· Minimum 6 years of HR experience; IT sector experience is a must.
· knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance. Also South Asia and middle east ( Pakistan/UAE/Saudi) BackOffice HR management experience is a must.
· Experience with HRIS, HR documentation, and end-to-end HR operations.
· Strong analytical ability with experience in Excel and Power BI.
· High attention to detail, strong communication, and relationship-building skills.
· Comfortable handling confidential information with integrity.
