Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care services within our domiciliary care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, with a focus on assisted living and home care management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and that the needs of our clients are met with compassion and professionalism.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee our home care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients, managing staff, and developing care plans that meet individual needs. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional senior care, particularly for individuals with dementia or other complex needs.
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of caregivers, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Supervise daily operations of the domiciliary service to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in home care.
- Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly to enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to health and safety regulations within the home care environment.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and external stakeholders to promote effective communication and support.
- Maintain accurate records of client care, staff performance, and operational activities in line with company policies.
- To ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focussed review s of services.
- To ensure the service is appropriately resourced with the right number of suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
- In partnership with the senior management team participate in the strategic development of the organisation and assist with the identification and development of strategies for the planning and delivery of quality, innovative new services.
Experience
- 3 Years of Experience as a CQC Registered Manager
- Level 5 NVQ level Health and Social Care
- Proven experience in a managerial role within home care, nursing homes, or similar settings is essential.
- Strong understanding of senior care practices, including dementia care and medication administration.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the well-being of clients.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the senior care sector, preferably in assisted living or home care settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and experience in developing care plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
