Due to increased long term workload we’re looking for someone to join our team who can….
- Install fibre into customer premises, business and residential, including splicing
- Assist the support team with troubleshooting techniques and queries
- Liaise by phone with the project office team to organise pre-installations, installations and arrange service calls
The right person will…
- Have fibre installation/splicing skills and experience
- Have a good understanding of fibre terminology and be able to communicate this effectively to customers as well as colleagues within the business
- Be proactive, efficient, and courteous for customers
- Have the willingness to work in all climates
- Use and basic maintenance of a works tablet, fibre splicing machine, power meter, fibre identifier
- Must be a team player
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have
SA001, SA002,K8/S7, N27/S8 or equivalent
- NRSWA unit 2
- Splicing and testing
- SMART AWARDS
- PIA experience desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working at height from a ladder and cabling from up to 11m telegraph poles
- Experience in lone working and health and safety requirements that are specific to working at height
- Practical experience in a customer-facing role
- Have a current driving license
- Clear DBS

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
