Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, ensuring they feel welcome.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure precision in order processing.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services.
• A friendly disposition with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
