Summary
We are seeking an IT Technician to join our dedicated team at St Anne’s Nursing Home in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential IT support to ensure the smooth operation of our technology systems, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for staff and residents.
- Manage and maintain computer systems, including operating systems and applications.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Respond to help desk requests in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT services and support delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for software issues.
- Experience with help desk software such as ServiceNow is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.05-£16.00 per hour
