KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential: Manufacturing / Machine Shop experience.
Preferred:A degree or equivalent type of qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Strong background and experience in manufacturing processes, process and equipment optimization, and engineering or manufacturing in oil and gas industry, preferably in well completions equipment manufacturing.
Preferred:
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Lead routine interaction and technical support of active manufacturers.
- Technical focal point for manufacturing suppliers. This includes, but is not limited to e-mails, Suppliers Quality Meetings, supplier visits and audits, and internal parties to support, support and validation of Quality Improvement Plans.
- Active participation in non-conformance and concession request processes, including investigation, corrective and preventive actions, in cooperation with Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Support and HSE departments.
- Technical support of manufacturing quality plans review and approval process.
- Technical support of manufacturer qualification processes to meet internal or customer requirements.
- Cooperation with manufacturing suppliers and TAQA internal parties for manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and improvement,
- Support of setting material and welding standards and procedures with external manufacturers with support from expert third-parties.
- Involved in engineering reviews for design for manufacturing
- Other tasks and duties as reasonably required by the Engineering Department.
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To demonstrate commitment to the quality, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding TAQA Well Completions internal and customer expectations,
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of health, safety and the environment,
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments,
- To report on any perceived deviations from established processes and procedures, non-conformances or faults in the business operation, realization and provision of product and service and in the companys Quality and HSE Management Systems,
- Stop the job and report unsafe acts and conditions and deviation from processes, in line with relevant company procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Strong background and experience in manufacturing processes, process and equipment optimization, and engineering or manufacturing in oil and gas industry, preferably in well completions equipment manufacturing.
Decision making, flexibility and initiative.
Essential:- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing or engineering related role in oil and gas industry,
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly and quality requirements
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards relevant to well completions equipment, such as ISO, API.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations related to manufacturing operations,
- Willing to travel globally for support of manufacturing locations,
- Strong quality background
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to review workshop drawings and assembly / test procedures
Preferred:
- Experience of well completion products.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
- Familiarity with engineering design related processes, including DAC, MAC and design packages, and Management of Change,
- Project management experience, including planning, execution and monitoring of manufacturing projects
