Role and Responsibilities :
Provide first-line and second-line technical support to end-users experiencing hardware, software, or network issues.
Resolve technical problems related to computer systems, printers, networks, and other IT infrastructure.
Offer support for operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and key applications (Microsoft Office, email clients, etc.).
Perform regular updates and patches to ensure all systems are secure and up to date.
Maintain and upgrade hardware, software, and networking equipment.
Manage and update antivirus and firewall software to ensure protection against cybersecurity threats.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware like routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Manage network security, including monitoring firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Monitor network performance and address any slowdowns or outages.
Provide tiered support through a helpdesk platform and ensure users receive timely responses and resolutions.
Manage and track the status of all tickets from creation to resolution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stockport SK7 6NW
