To participate in providing planned and emergency maintenance and repair of highly complex treatment systems. To advise on the safe working condition and alignment of clinical treatment machines To assist in the system management of the radiotherapy treatment computer systems. Undertakes Quality Assurance regimes on treatment machines according to local protocol. Undertakes specific Research and Development Projects and helps instigate changes of practice which result from these Assist with the commissioning of treatment machines as required.
