BASED: UK, Home and Office Based


TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within the UK


The Business Development Graduate is a key role in iDefigo?s sales team, focused on increasing the sales productivity and performance across our UK channel partners. The role combines market analysis, outbound sales campaigns, channel enablement support and sales process reporting.


The successful applicant will play an important role in channel management activities relating to our key UK channel partner, Vodafone. Reporting into a Senior Channel Manager, day to day activities include driving prospecting activity within Vodafone?s B2B sales teams, providing technical support throughout sales cycles and assisting in in-life account management.

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:


The Business Development Graduate has the primary focus of accelerating revenue through managing key relationships within Vodafone. This position requires a person who has the ability to drive outreach messaging, campaigns and channel engagment across our partner Vodafone. The role will include ongoing check ins and reviews with Vodafone Account Managers to monitor and track the progress of pipeline generation and ensuring that iDefigo are at the forefront of their account development plans.


The Business Development Graduate job purpose is:



  • Channel Enablement: Support Vodafone through the delivery of campaigns & sales enablement tools and by managing regular contact with key channel members and the iDefigo Sales team.

  • Analyse: Research our customer segments by analysing the trends that are driving change and develop new sales enablement tools for our sales partners.

  • Prospect: Supporting Vodafone sales initiatives to engage target customers to generate new business.

  • Manage: Support the sales channel including sales enablement training, account profiling and mapping.

  • Report: Monitor the company?s sales process activities and ensure the Company?s CRM is kept up-to-date. Provide campaign/channel status reports to stakeholders as required.

  • Collaborate: Engage with colleagues in Marketing, Sales, Operations, Product and Commercial to ensure the company is aligned for delivering success for our customers and iDefigo.


CAPABILITIES/SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:



  • Completion of a relevant university degree.

  • Strong presenting and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, confidence and energy.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Exceptional written and verbal skills in the English language.

  • Must present a professional personal image both in-person and via video conferencing.

  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of computer literacy.

  • Natural flair for business acumen.

Our channel to market is primarily through a partnership iDefigo have with Vodafone UK and through Authorised Security and IT partners. Our solution is only sold as a B2B product.


Company structure overview:


This role will be within iDefigo Limited (registered in England), a wholly owned subsidiary of iDefigo Group Limited.


The company has four main functional groups:



  • Sales ? this role is within the Sales Group and reports directly to the Sales Director. The Sales Group is responsible for all sales and marketing activities in all countries.

  • Operations ? the Operations Group has two main functions: Logistics & Support. The Operations Group is based in the UK with some support from New Zealand.

  • Product ? the Product Group manages all product development and is predominately based in NZ.

  • Commercial ? the Commercial Group develops strategic partnerships internationally and is run from the UK looking after: Finance, HR, Legal and Investor Relations.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: £25,000.00 per year
