Customer Service Executive
Location: Leicester
Working Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, 1 hour lunch break, Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, 1 hour lunch break
Salary: £21,508

The Role


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop strong, sustainable relationships with your customer and supplier base, primarily by telephone and e-mail


· Processing sales orders and quotes accurately and efficiently
· Provide information about products and services finding solutions to the customers? requirements through our huge supply chain
· Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly operations, sales, stock control and credit control to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved
· Pass on and share any information that needs to be communicated to colleagues in a clear and effective manner (verbal or email)
· Answer all incoming calls, assisting customers in a professional and efficient manner
· Ensure all correct complaint procedures are complied with ensuring a satisfactory resolution
· Meeting company targets · Manage out of stock items by communicating with purchasing and advising customer accordingly. Look for alternative products for out of stock items to retain sale
· Providing general administrative support
· Ability and willingness to follow instructions and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful and positve manner.
· Contributing work and effort to group performance to meet agreed upon objectives and achieve team success
· Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role.


Your skills
. Minimum of 2 years? experience in customer service or telesales
· Knowledge of PPE is desirable but not essential
· Computer literate with fluent written and spoken English
· Good analytical skills
· Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
· Professional telephone manner and communication skills
· The ability to work to daily deadlines accurately and efficiently in a challenging environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc)
· Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
