Trainee teacher – PGDE Scholarships available
at Fairview International School Belfast in Belfast (Published at 06-05-2022)
The work based PGDE programme is an international teacher training programme focused around the renowned and esteemed International Baccalaureate. For aspiring international educators, the work based PGDE at the specialist teaching institution, University College Fairview (UCF), offers the opportunity to gain the accreditation and qualifications required to teach mixed with the practical school-based skills to build a successful teaching career. All of this is part of a unique international experience as part of the network of Fairview International IB World Schools Group in Malaysia and affiliated schools globally.
This is a 2-year work-based programme based at University College Fairview in Malaysia and a 1-year guaranteed teaching placement through the network of Fairview International Schools in Malaysia and affiliated schools globally. It includes:
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) with possible progression to a Masters of Education (MEd) (International Baccalaureate) - FREE TUITION FEES
Guaranteed teaching placement within the Fairview International School network in Malaysia or affiliated schools globally
Student Support Package including:
Monthly living allowance
Free accommodation
Outbound and return flights
No visa expenses
Private Hospitalisation and Surgical coverage
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates are able to apply for an additional award from IB called the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning (equivalent to IB qualified teacher), giving an entry route into the IB teaching world.
We are recruiting now for students to start with us this and the next academic year in Malaysia. As this is a rolling admission, we process applications as and when we receive them.
