The Role
:


We?re looking for a Senior IT Security Manager to join our enterprise technology team. This is an exciting opportunity ideally suited to someone who has served in either an IT security or information security management capacity. You will lead from the front in advancing the security of our ?cloud first? architecture and will be responsible for all aspects of IT security & security operations across internal and client delivery architectures.

Overseeing both IT security and operational security capabilities will enable you to continually act upon threat & vulnerability information, addressing security in ?real-time?. You will also work collaboratively with the Security Risk & Compliance Lead on various efforts, including ISO27001 certification, contractual and legal compliance alignment, and overall security risk reduction.

Specifically, this role will require you too:

  • Think holistically about information security and how this technical leadership role supports the overarching goal of security risk reduction

  • Provide leadership, vision and direction to the wider organisation and technology leadership team in all aspects regarding security

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to achieve effective security outcomes

  • Provide ongoing guidance and consultation to the organisation on security best practices

  • Leverage operational security capabilities to address security in real-time

In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:


Essential criteria


  • Previous experience in a technical security management role

  • Cloud management experience with knowledge of best practice architectures

  • Hands-on experience securing cloud constructs & resources

  • ISO27001 standard & ISO27002 controls experience

  • Experience with security operations technology and procedures

  • Ability to coordinate security assurance and testing practices

  • Knowledge of security risk management, control design and implementation

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience


Desirable Criteria


  • Experience with any of the Microsoft cloud security stack including Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Centre, Azure Active Directory, Defender, O365 Security, Cloud App Security, Endpoint Manager etc.

  • Cisco Meraki and Umbrella.

  • Relevant security qualification such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, ISO27001 Practitioner etc.


Additional Information


As a member of an ISO Compliant centre, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Centre of Excellence and globally at Factor. As a member of the Factor team, the applicant will have access to various company and client assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset.
