The Role

We?re looking for Compensation Specialist to join us in our Belfast Office. As a member of our People team, you?ll be helping to design, implement and manage salary, bonus and incentive packages for all employees across the organization.

  • Design and administration of employee compensation structures and processes, including ongoing maintenance and operation of compensation grades;

  • Identifying and participating in salary survey submissions, including job matching;

  • Carrying out the annual market review, along with pay equity and other related analyses;

  • Administration of the quarterly incentive plan and annual bonus plan, including support for plan design and approval processes;

  • Scheduled and ad hoc reward reporting and analytics;

  • Acting as a first line of response for reward queries, and partnering with the broader People Team on reward-related initiatives;

  • Advising the broader People team and other stakeholders on compensation-related matters as and when they arise;

  • Support for new market implementations including analysis of employee regulatory requirements and Total Rewards benchmarking and policy design;

  • Supporting the administration of employee stock programs;

  • Preparing, submitting and reviewing compensation inputs for global payrolls;

  • Developing and managing reward collateral for the business;

  • Managing non-salary reward budgets and processes;

  • Ad hoc support for the Benefits team as required.

In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 3 years? experience in either Reward or related responsibilities with a HR function.

  • Experience of working in a complex or matrix organization.

  • Knowledge of some of the following: key reward concepts including compensation structure design, job matching & salary survey submissions, market pricing, pay for performance, pay equity, and incentive plan design.

  • Experience supporting cyclical reward processes, including salary reviews.

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

  • Advanced excel skills with knowledge and experience of complex data manipulation and analysis

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to self-manage to deliver to timescales with the confidence to escalate issues and/or solutions that would prevent these deadlines being met.

  • Meticulous, organized, high level of attention to detail and excellent planning skills are essential.

  • Pragmatic and resilient.

Additional Information

As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Centre of Excellence and globally at Factor. As a member of the Factor team, the applicant will have access to various company and client assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset.
