AUDIO SECRETARY ? PERSONAL INJURY

FULL OR PART-TIME

Location: Wakefield

Jordans Solicitors are a dynamic Yorkshire law firm with offices in Dewsbury, Horsforth, Wakefield, and Selby. With a 70 year record of excellent service Jordans are a highly acclaimed choice for the West Yorkshire Area and beyond.

We are currently looking for an audio secretary to join our personal injury team full or part-time over 5 days some of which can be worked from home once established.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assist and support solicitors and fee earners.

· Undertake audio typing of correspondence/forms/documentation when required

· Liaise with clients and other professionals

· Draft legal documents

· Use of case and document management systems

· Issue client care letters

· Opening, closing and retrieval of client files

· General administrative duties

· Work as part of a team, establishing good working relationships at all levels

· Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up to date diary

· Promote the services of the Firm, its image and ethos

· Undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development

· Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch

· Carry out additional tasks when required to

The ideal candidate will have excellent audio typing experience and IT skills together with good written and oral communication skills. Providing secretarial assistance to personal injury solicitors. You must be highly organised and able to work on own initiative to tight deadlines.

Preference will be given to candidates with legal secretarial, digital dictation and case management systems experience.
