NJC Band E scale points 6-8 (Pro rata?d salary £16,509 - £17,176)
37 hours per week, term time only for a fixed term period of 12 months initially. A substantive contract may be offered to an outstanding candidate at the end of the initial 12 month period

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, flexible, enthusiastic and above all hardworking School Administrator to join the school?s busy administration team, which is committed to providing first class administrative support to our thriving school. The successful candidate will have had previous administrative experience, ideally in an educational setting and will be confident in using all Microsoft and Google applications. The post holder will have an exceptional grasp of business English and will be confident in the construction of business correspondence. Team working skills are essential as you will be working closely with others in a small team.
The post holder will be responsible to the School Business Leader and specific duties will include:
? To be a competent Administrator with high quality skills providing an outstanding administrative, clerical and secretarial service to the school
? To be able to work on their own, problem solving and seeking solutions through appropriate helpdesks to ensure high quality, accurate work is produced
? To be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
? To be an effective communicator
? To have strong interpersonal and organisational skills
? To have the ability to prioritise effectively
? To be able to confidently use the full suite of Microsoft applications, but especially strong skills in Word and Excel
? To prepare a range of reports from the school?s Management Information System and other databases as required
? To take accurate minutes at meetings
? To assist the School Business Leader with budget preparation and monitoring including processing invoices for payments and other financial duties as required
? To maintain accurate records in the school?s various databases including the Single Central Record
? To comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, confidentiality, health & safety and security
? To adhere to the school?s safeguarding policies and procedures and having a thorough understanding of the DfE?s Keeping Children Safe in Education publication
