Hours: Full-Time, Permanent 40 hours a week



Circa Salary £22,743 per annum

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Early Years Teacher to join our team at Spring Milecross to raise the quality of the early years provision at a Spring nursery setting by delivering and leading on high quality teaching of the Early Years Foundation Stage and providing outstanding care of our children.



The Early Years Teacher forms part of the setting leadership team, alongside the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager. You will act as the third in charge and manage the day to day running of the nursery in the absence of the Manager or Deputy.



What you will need:



Our successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and pro-active mindset with a positive attitude and have the ability to lead the team to form strong and supportive relationships with the parents, children and the team. Our Job Description outlines the requirements of the role, but the ?must haves' are:



  • Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.

  • Qualified Early Years Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience working and leading in an early years or school setting

  • Planning, observation and reflection of children and their learning

  • Working in a team providing high quality services for children.

  • Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.

  • Commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory working practice with children, families, colleagues and the community.
