As an IT Project Manager you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our lending software and services to a myriad of customers, including; global finance companies and household names.


Working with all of the business stakeholders (internal/external) you will be a lynch pin between the company and its customers.



Overview of role


  • Project manage customer implementations of our software and services

  • Working with our customers to define their requirements and implement our loan management solutions

  • Manage the entire implementation lifecycle, from on-boarding to delivery

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects and resources

  • Ensure that projects are delivered to requirement, on budget and on time

  • Manage communication between OBS team and client

  • Carry out and lead project scoping and initiation workshops

  • Define and manage timescales, tasks, milestones, resources, dependencies, quality, risks, costs and stakeholders

  • Define and manage project budgets and costs in line with expectations

  • Work with a variety of stakeholders, including third parties

  • Produce and maintain project plans and progress reports

  • Stakeholder and customer management throughout project lifecycle. Including; client relationship management, change management, risk & issue management, dispute resolution and progress reporting

  • Ensure software development lifecycle and processes are followed

  • Identify opportunities to add value to customers

  • Work with sales and commercial team on proposals and sales on-boarding

  • Lead and coordinate requirements capture workshops and produce functional specifications

  • Provide process, market and product consultancy to internal and external customers

  • Develop strong product, customer and domain knowledge

  • Mentor colleagues and share project management best practices


About you


  • Minimum 5 years? project management experience

  • Able to manage complex and large IT projects

  • Experience of requirements gathering and writing specifications

  • Highly motivated and professional person, able to work in fast paced environment

  • Strong organisational, commercial and communication skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Strong risk management skills

  • Able to manage IT complex projects

  • Strong customer relationship management skills

  • Highly IT literate

  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required


Advantageous


  • Bachelor?s degree

  • Experience working in AGILE environment

  • APM accredited qualification preferably PRINCE 2

  • Experience working in IT, Financial services sector, particularly lending markets: Consumer, Motor, broker or asset finance
