Customer Service Agent (4 on 4 off) Full Time

My client in their head office in Skelmersdale is looking for a Call Operator as their first point of contact to their customers and service providers. You will be required to receive and deploy all aspects of vehicle related Roadside Breakdowns and routine service work requests

THE ROLE

  • Receiving inbound calls vehicles requiring assistance whether at the Roadside Breakdowns, Customer premises or dealer workshops.
  • Management of roadside breakdowns
  • Obtaining and accurately recording order numbers
  • Progress chasing job sheets from service providers for work they have completed
  • Inputting data on to our in house Web based system
  • Allocating jobs to service providers.
  • Filing job sheets awaiting order numbers by relevant service providers
  • Deal with any queries or issues that may prevent jobs from being booked out.
  • To perform general ad-hoc clerical and admin duties e.g. photocopying, faxing, laminating documents, etc.
  • Take inbound telephone messages
  • Scan job sheets to the relevant service request to aid the authorization process.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure a seamless process from beginning to completion.
  • Schedule MOTs
  • Collate Service and MOT documentation.
  • To undertake any other similar duties as requested

  • Multi tasking and organisational skills.
  • Good administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and also work off own initiative.
  • Basic IT skills - Windows and Microsoft Office experience
  • Customer service/telephone experience
  • Automotive, transport and/or tyre industry preferable

In return we will offer a salary of £18,000-£19,000 plus fantastic company benefits
