New Business Development Manager (Caravanning, Camping & Hospitality) Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and successful New Business Development Manager, to join our growing Commercial team.

On the back of successful new contacts with two of the UKs largest caravan and camping membership organisations, as well as several other significant leisure and resort brands, we see this industry as a key strategic growth area for us moving forward.

It is essential therefore that the successful candidate understands the domestic Caravanning, Camping, Self-Catering and/or Hospitality sectors ? either through experience of working directly within the sector, from an industry body or association that services this sector or from specialist knowledge acquired from having been a supplier to this sector.

The successful applicant will be experienced in developing new business sales strategies, comfortable with starting and developing new business sales conversations and will be successful in delivering against targets/KPI?s set. The applicant will also ideally come with an established network of industry contacts, be tech savvy and comfortable in communicating how technology can bring business benefits.

You will need to be highly motivated, a self-starter, and a good team player and be able to match the organisation?s appetite for growth whilst sharing its passion for loyal, successful and lasting customer relationships.

The role:

· Deliver recurring revenue to agreed sales targets across new customers in the Caravanning, Camping, Staycation and/ or hospitality industries.

· Locate, identify, qualify and secure new business customers through proactively developing a pipeline of opportunity

· Create a pipeline of opportunity through self-generating leads whilst also following up on leads allocated to you on the back of outbound marketing activity.

· Contribute to the shaping of supporting marketing & PR activity to help stimulate awareness and create inbound enquiries from our target industries.

· Identify, capture & understand customer pain points and build out a commercial proposition that harnesses our products and services to deliver customer business benefit.

· Deliver relevant and engaging presentations, written proposals and where required coordinate product demos or PoCs to address the prospective customer needs.

· Deliver your own initial software demos and where needed work with colleagues to deliver ?deeper dive? demonstrations or PoCs to support the best possible outcome when exploring a customer requirement/ opportunity.

· Coordinate production of proposals, RFIs/ RFPs and related internal commercial documentation to a high quality with an attention to detail and focus on accuracy.

· Track through opportunities from lead to signed order, working proactively to keep the prospective customer engaged, the opportunity ?live? and progressing until ordered.

· Follow Commercial governance and process to ensure quality and manage risk whilst also establishing clear reporting mechanisms to track and update line management on progress.

· Maintain accurate real-time information on partnership opportunities to enable effective forecasting, planning and to track progress to targets.

About You/What we value:

· A solid understanding and knowledge of the Caravanning, Camping, Self-Catering and/or hospitality sector.

· Strong inter-personal skills and a dedication to brand promotion and successful relationship management.

· Tech savvy, with previous experience within travel software.

· Existing Travel industry experience ? understanding of how it works, the process, the players, the opportunities, and the risks.

· Previously operated in a target orientated environment and thrives working in a new business facing role.

· Has significant self-motivation, relationship focussed, resilient, driven, result oriented.

· Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills: both internal and external

· Good commercial awareness, with an ability to identify new opportunity.

· Strong teamwork ethic.

· Well organised and able to work through a consistent end to end commercial process.
