Job overview


The NSFT East Suffolk Police Triage Team, based within Suffolk Constabulary are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time Administrator. This post is for 3-part days a week consisting of 5 hours per weekday. The days can be flexible; however, Monday is essential and a day at the end of the standard working week would be preferable. Working hours would need to be 12:00 till 17:00 or 13:00 till 18:00.



You will be primarily based at the Woodlands Unit within the Crisis Pathway administration team but will also be required to work at Landmark House and Martlesham Police Headquarters at times.



You will also work as part of the wider admin team at Woodlands and will be required to cover reception when the need arises.


Main duties of the job


This role will primarily be supporting the Police Triage Team who work alongside the Police on any 999 or 101 calls related to people with mental health problems across Suffolk and Norfolk. The Police Triage Team responds to a diverse range of referrals, advising and supporting the police in the decisions needed to ensure the public are supported in the safest and most person-centred way.



The post requires a confident, level-headed individual who can support a busy team in responding to changing priorities and delivering accurate work within tight deadlines.



As well as having a good standard of education, you should have recent administration experience and good typing skills. You must possess excellent time management , a positive approach and be able to remain calm under pressure. The ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own work is required, as is the capacity to be flexible and adaptable.

This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
